In-House Savings Plan

In-House Savings Plan

Wondering how to get the care your smile needs without a dental insurance plan standing in the way? At Orange Blossom Dentistry, we hear this concern often, especially from patients who are self-employed, between jobs, recently retired, or simply tired of paying premiums for coverage that never seems to cover enough. The good news is that skipping insurance doesn’t mean skipping care, and it certainly doesn’t mean settling for less.

That is exactly why we created our Dental Wellness Savings Plan, a straightforward alternative for patients at our Orange Park practice who want predictable, affordable access to the dental care we provide. No insurance? No problem. We built this plan so that every patient in our community, insured or not, can walk through our doors and get the attention their smile deserves.

What Our Dental Wellness Savings Plan Includes

Traditional dental insurance often comes with waiting periods, annual maximums, and a long list of exclusions that leave patients paying out of pocket anyway. Our savings plan cuts through that complexity. For $375 a year, we give our patients two cleanings, two exams of any type, two fluoride treatments, and routine X-rays, plus 15 percent off all other services at our practice.

A Real Cost Comparison

We want our patients to see the numbers for themselves, not just take our word for it. A new patient exam, cleaning, and X-rays booked without the plan runs $492 at our practice. Our full savings plan, which covers two complete preventive visits across the year rather than just one, costs $375 total. That means our plan pays for itself before a patient even reaches their second visit of the year, and every additional cleaning beyond the two included is still discounted 15 percent.

One of the biggest advantages of our plan is that patients know exactly what they are getting from day one. Traditional dental insurance can be difficult to navigate, with some services counting toward an annual maximum and others not, coverage percentages that shift by procedure, and fine print that changes from plan to plan.

According to the CareQuest Institute, once a patient reaches their plan’s annual maximum, nearly two out of five simply discontinue or delay treatment until their benefits renew the following year, a sign of how easy it is for patients to lose track of what their insurance will and will not pay for until they are already at the dentist’s office. Our savings plan skips that guesswork entirely. Patients know upfront that two cleanings, two exams, two fluoride treatments, and X-rays are included, and that everything else is 15 percent off, with no annual cap, no shifting percentages, and no surprise bill waiting at checkout.

Built Around Preventive Care First

We designed our plan with the understanding that consistent preventive care is the foundation of a healthy smile. When patients skip routine visits because of cost concerns or confusing coverage rules, small issues can become bigger, more expensive problems. Our team walks every new plan member through their benefits at signup so there are no surprises at checkout, and no fine print to decode later.

Why We Built This Plan for Our Patients

We see patients from Fleming Island, Middleburg, and beyond who fall into the coverage gap for one reason or another. Some have recently moved and have not found a new employer plan yet. Some are self-employed and never had dental benefits to begin with. Others are snowbirds who split their time between states and find that traditional insurance simply does not travel well. We built our Dental Wellness Savings Plan with exactly this kind of patient in mind, giving individuals and families a reliable way to budget for care without the guesswork that comes with a traditional policy.

Here is what our patients gain from choosing this option over going without any coverage at all:

✓Two cleanings, two exams, two fluoride treatments, and routine X-rays included for one flat annual fee
✓15 percent off additional cleanings and all other services at our practice
✓No insurance company approvals, denials, or waiting periods standing between you and your appointment

This is not a substitute for insurance dressed up in different language. It is a plan we built specifically for patients who have decided, for any reason, that traditional dental insurance is not the right fit for their situation.

Flexibility Alongside Financing Options

Our savings plan works well on its own, and it also pairs naturally with the financing we already offer through CareCredit for larger treatments like dental implants or a full cosmetic dentistry plan. We find that patients feel much more comfortable saying yes to the treatment they need once they know exactly what it will cost and how they will pay for it.

A Hometown Practice That Treats the Whole Family

Dr. Jessica Nixon and Dr. Ryan Garske built Orange Blossom Dentistry around the idea that every patient, regardless of age or insurance status, deserves a warm, personalized experience. Dr. Nixon comes from a family of dentists and brings a gentle, thorough approach that puts nervous patients at ease, while Dr. Garske emphasizes education and prevention so patients understand exactly what is happening in their own mouths. Together, they have built a husband-and-wife practice that genuinely treats the whole family, from a child’s first cleaning to comprehensive care for grandparents.

If you have been putting off a visit because you don’t have dental insurance, we want you to know we built this plan for exactly that reason. Reach out through our contact form to ask our team about enrollment, and let us show you that no insurance really does mean no problem at our practice.
